These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the clippi desktop application and the clippi website (together, the “Service”). By downloading, installing, purchasing, or using clippi, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
clippi is sold as a one-time purchase that grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use the app on devices you own or control. Your license includes updates we make available.
You may not resell, redistribute, sublicense, rent, or share your license key. You may not copy, decompile, reverse-engineer, or attempt to extract the source code of the app except where such restriction is prohibited by law.
clippi is a “bring your own key” (BYOK) tool. AI features require you to supply your own API keys for third-party providers (for example Groq, OpenAI, or Pexels). Your keys are stored on your device.
You are responsible for your own use of those providers, including any fees they charge and compliance with their respective terms of service and usage policies. clippi is not affiliated with, and does not resell the services of, these providers. Cost estimates shown in the app are approximate and provided for convenience only.
You are solely responsible for the videos, audio, images, and other material you import into or process with clippi (“Your Content”), and for the clips you export and publish.
You represent that you own Your Content or have all necessary rights, licenses, and permissions to use it. You must not use clippi to process, clip, or distribute material that infringes the intellectual property, privacy, or other rights of any third party.
clippi may let you import media from URLs, including video-sharing platforms. Downloading or processing content from third-party platforms may be restricted by those platforms’ terms of service and by copyright law. You are solely responsible for ensuring you have the right to download and use any such content. clippi is a general-purpose tool and does not grant you any rights to third-party content.
You agree not to use clippi to create, process, or distribute content that is unlawful, infringing, defamatory, or that violates the rights of others; to circumvent third-party protections; or in any way that violates applicable law.
clippi processes your video locally on your device. We do not receive or store your source videos or exported clips on our servers. Text and audio required for AI features are sent only to the third-party provider whose key you supply, under that provider’s policies. Account and payment information you provide to us or our payment processors is handled by them under their policies.
Prices are shown at checkout and may vary by region. Payments are processed by third-party payment providers. If clippi is not right for you, you may request a refund within 14 days of purchase by contacting us; we may decline refunds in cases of abuse or license-key sharing.
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or that AI-generated output (such as clip selection, captions, or translations) will be accurate, complete, or suitable for your needs. You are responsible for reviewing exports before publishing.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, clippi and its maker will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or content, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid for your license.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date below. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Indonesia, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Questions about these Terms can be sent via Telegram to @clippiid.
